The Atmore Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet was held on Jan. 26.  This year’s banquet was very significant for the ECHS choir.  The Chamber of Commerce donated $1,000 to the choir.  In addition to the chamber donation, Bob Jones, CEO of United Bank, and Glen Davis, CEO of First National Bank & Trust,  committed to splitting the remainder of the ECHS choir’s New York trip in April, after all fundraising efforts are completed.

Six members of the ECHS choir performed several songs following the evening’s program.  Following their performance, the choir director, Conrad Weber was named the second recipient of the Citizen of the Year award.
