On Friday, September 22, Dr. Rodney Owens’ ninth grade biology classes have been talking about pollution and recycling.  As a class project, the students participated in a clean-up activity around the school campus and football stadium.  After the clean-up, students returned to class and discussed the amount of pollution that people contribute to the environment when littering.  The class also looked through the collection and separated the items for recycling.  This served as a reminder of the importance of recycling order to preserve the environment.
